My Story
I'm Gage Kota, a high school student from Wooster. While most students around my age are focusing on traditional paths, I decided to choose something else: my passion for technology, web development, and cybersecurity.
I started designing and creating websites in about 6th grade. What started as curiosity quickly turned into years of hands-on experience designing, building and improving real projects for myself and people all over the world. Over time, I've created a wide range of websites and custom tools that taught me how to solve everyday problems with software.
I currently attend Wayne County Schools Career Center, where I study cybersecurity, programming and IT solutions; however, I also attend Triway High School, where I'm an active programmer in VEX Robotics Team 3145H, a 4 time state qualifier. I also hold CompTIA Tech+ and Network+ certifications, which strengthen my understanding of networking, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices.
My background in cybersecurity means I think beyond how a site looks. Every website we build includes security best practices from day one, with attention to reliability, performance and the protection of your online presence.
